Dr Bonnie Lam- is sadly, not returning to TMC

A letter from Dr Lam to her patients, expecting her back from maternity leave.

“I am writing to inform you all that I have made the difficult decision to leave TMC Medical after 8 wonderful years.

This has not been an easy decision as it has been a privilege to care for you over the years. However, I will be relocating to Sydney to be closer to family support for my young family while my husband, Dr Matthew Broadhead, continues to work across both Coffs Harbour and Sydney. With this move I will no longer be able to return to work in the practice after my maternity leave as I had initially hoped.

I am very grateful for the trust you have placed in me as your GP. It has been a pleasure to have been involved in your care and I apologise for not having the opportunity to say goodbye in person.

Your ongoing care is very important, and the other doctors at the practice will continue to provide high quality medical care. Your medical records will remain at the practice and you are welcome to book with any of the GPs for future appointments. If you wish to transfer your records to another clinic, the reception team will be happy to assist you.

Thank you again for allowing me to be a part of your healthcare journey. I wish you and your families all the very best for the future.
